In 1952, President Truman created a secret group to investigate the mysterious encounters that had plagued the world for decades. Ten months later, Truman secretly read the groups initial report and was privately stunned by the group’s conclusions. The human race didn’t have the knowledge, technology or resources to deal with this new threat. The group also recommended that a new secret organisation be created. This new organisation would only have one mission, they had to solve the ultimate mystery in human history and discover why these mysterious visitors kept coming back. On the 18th of January 1953, the Foundation was born.
Over a century later, the Foundation has started to discover the secrets of the universe. They have created revolutionary technologies to transform humanity’s future and have built huge ships to explore the heavens or defend our very existence in the stars. But the rest of the human race must never know about the Foundation, its capabilities or its ultimate mission. This knowledge would destroy global society and shatter nation-states. But it’s the Intrepid, a Zeus Class heavy cruiser and flagship of the Foundation 1st fleet that has been ordered to comply with the Discovery Protocol and discover the origins of these mysterious visitors. The Discovery Protocol is the most dangerous mission in human history, but Commander Jake Tyler and the rest of his special operations team will discover the ultimate secret of the universe, a secret, so profound that it will change humanity’s destiny and rewrite human history.
